Who We Are
Liatris
Grand Forks County Prairie Partners is a group of local people who care about the prairie grasslands in Grand Forks County of North Dakota. We are teachers, farmers, students, wildlife biologists, business people and artists. We are men and women, grandparents and grandchildren. Some of us have discovered the native prairie of Grand Forks County only recently, and some of our families have lived on the plains for generations. All of us have one thing in common: a love for the prairie, its native plants and animals, its vibrant native culture, and its rich pioneer heritage. We seek to preserve the prairie grasslands of Grand Forks County and help inspire a renewed "prairie literacy" in our community.
